“Hello! I’m Pastor Michael and welcome to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler, Michigan’s message for Sunday, July 12, 2020. This is the 6th Sunday after Pentecost.
A brief message before we begin, for those living in our area, next Sunday, July 19, we will begin a Bible Study, One Nation Under God: Healing Racial Divides in America. The bible teaches us that all people whatever their skin color, whatever their eye color, whatever their height or country of origin, we all descend from the same man and woman, Adam and Eve. The divisions that are among us are something that we created as opposed to what God intended for us. This study will help us to identify things in our own lives that we might not even notice unless someone pointed it out to us. We’ll also talk about how we can be better Christians to our neighbors.
