The Ladies Society will again be collecting items for Lutheran World Relief personal care kits in September. The following items are needed:
- Dark colored bath towels (20” x 40” to 27” x 52”)
- Bath-size bars of Soap in original wrapping
- Adult-size Toothbrushes
- Sturdy Combs (no picks or fine-tooth combs)
- Metal Nail Clippers (attached file optional)
Please purchase any or all of these items and place them in the marked narthex tub. A Thrivent Action card will be used to complete the kits, and a packing party will be held in early October.
Thanks to Donna Nohel, there are several LWR quilt tops ready to be birthed and tied. Quilting will begin Tuesday, September 8, to get the quilts ready to tie. Please come on Tuesdays and bring a sack lunch. Volunteers will be needed to tie them at church or at home. There will only be a few weeks to get Lutheran World Relief items ready to send.
