Recorded Sunday, November 22, 2020
“Welcome to Immanuel Lutheran in Wheeler, Michigan’s message for November 22, 2020, the last Sunday of the church year. As you may know, Governor Whitmer added new restrictions again on our communities here in Michigan. Although churches are exempted from this, some churches around us have chosen to close, but Immanuel is still open. We not request for the sake of your neighbor that you follow the governor’s policies on both social distancing and wearing of masks. Within the congregation, we are separating people by pews, usually one every other pew as it goes. We do hope to see you come back to church as gathering with fellow believers is so important to our faith.
As a reminder, this Wednesday, Thanksgiving Eve, November 25, we will be having our Thanksgiving celebration (service) at 7 pm. You’re welcome to join us then as well.
Let’s begin now in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit…”
