“Good morning everyone! Glad to see you made it out in the cold…next week begins Lent. We start Ash Wednesday at 7 pm. Because we haven’t had high attendance, because we are still concerned about COVID, while we will have Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, we won’t be having the other Wednesday night services. Instead, I’ll be posting a message on our Facebook page each Wednesday.
The second thing is that immediately after this service we’ll have a very, very brief voter’s meeting. There is an issue on the table from the synod about delaying the conference that was supposed to happen this summer. They want to push it back one year because of the pandemic. The reason is that they are figuring the hotels and places won’t be up to full capacity to host this event…”
